According to the Westchester Action Plan for Climate Change and Sustainable Development, every resident, business, government, K-12 school or college/university in Westchester should strive to reduce its “carbon footprint” by 20 percent by 2015 and 80 percent by 2050.
This is an important interim goal of an ambitious, but doable, countywide action plan to help combat climate change and promote sustainabilty.
