First launched in 2009 by Westchester County in partnership with The Business Council of Westchester, the Westchester Green Business Challenge (WGBC) is an innovative public-private partnership (501c3 nonprofit) designed to move companies down the path toward environmental sustainability while improving performance and saving money. To date the program has grown to include over 200 Westchester-based companies of all sizes and industries.
